Position Summary : Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Director, the sales territory manager will meet and exceed sales target. He(She) will open new accounts as well as meeting actual clients need. He(She) will spend most of his(her) day on the road while keeping the marketing and sales director inform
Duties and Responsabilities :
Manage the sales & merchandising indirect sales forces to achieve the sales goals and for the optimal execution of the merchandising strategies for Belanger’s entire product lines within their customers base.
Develop regional strategies to maximize the performance of his territory
Collaborate with all department (mainly marketing and purchasing) to inform them of new business leads and forecast as well business gains and losses.
Identify new opportunities and insure to develop them until closing
Act as the technical reference for Quality issues and report to the corporate contacts all issues in a timely and detailed manner
Coordinate, supervise and participate in program implementations, resets and new store set-ups.
Provide regular and on a need basis all necessary training for product knowledge, servicing and maintenance visits, new product introductions or product withdrawals
Develop and implement a profitable and geographically comprehensive prospecting initiative, targeting high potential customers
Prepare and present business reviews for forecasted sales to target.
Provide all necessary material (pods, displays, and pop components), printed support (catalogs, technical documents, spec sheets) all accessory and repair parts
Participate in selected special events and training seminars such as contractor’s breakfast, consumer how-to’s and other
Participate actively in regular visit schedules, reviewing call reports and/or taking actions and/or ensuring prompt and complete follow-ups
Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
Assess sales performance according to KPIs
Experience of 5-7 years in sales (plumbing experience a plus)
Degree in Administration, Marketing or other relevant discipline
Organized and leadership ability
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales target
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office
Owns a valid driver’s licence
Ability to keep register (e.g. expense accounts)
● Territory as assigned, Ontario and Western Canada
● Travel as required to Quebec Sales Office
● Attendance at industry related trade shows North America
